Portland Dreams of Cacti - Tour the Greenhouse and Garden of Eric Peterson

Garden Lovers...being inside this greenhouse made me want to cry from happiness. I am so glad I get to share this resplendent ode to gardening with you all. Not only is Eric Peterson an amazing craftsman, he is an out-of-this-world plantsman and defies the laws of nature with his collection of interesting and beautiful cacti, succulents, rare and exotic flowers, vines, and so much more. This garden was absolutely humming with hummingbirds when we filmed it in mid September, 2024. It is in Portland, Oregon, zone 8, although many of the plants are zone 9 and up. See how he does it (yes, it requires a lot of heavy lifting...)

This was such an amazing garden to film - Marietta O Byrne and Ernie O Byrne are such a power-couple of plant knowledge, passion, and energy, and it was an honor to create this Tour with them - even if it was a bit unconventional in the way that we filmed the garden in September but didn't do the interview until 4 months later. ;D
